K.P. SHK is a network organization that was founded in 1997 at the initiative of several NGOs, indigenous peoples' organizations, researchers and individuals who are concerned with the issue of natural resources, especially forests in Indonesia. Since its establishment, KpSHK has been positioned as a motor of movement that systematically supports ways of forest management developed from generation to generation by indigenous peoples and local communities in and around forests.
